Heeeeya everyone! My Internet is finally back up so I can update like mad again! So, I worked like a machine on Liese's game, and it's quiet a lot of fun. Most of the work went into the plot, and I'm proud to say that it's extremely easy to get lost if you don't read carefully. This way I can finally make people read and not skip through the text like that. There wll be a way to skip cutscenes though, since I will insert a New Game+ feature. Anyways, back to the plot! It doesn't entirely resolve around Liese anymore, and rather the whole (and more!) cast of the original Disillusioned Strategies~
The battle system is also done, I just need to finish skillsets and items and blah blah blah. Character placement will play a much bigger role now, and skills have an area of effect. I'm currently too ashamed of the bare look of the battle system, so I'll be posting battle screens in the next update. That's all for now, Mary over and out~!
Okay before I start to talk about the gamez, I'm gonna share some useless real life stuff: The Internet connection at my place is down for an un known amount of time, so I'll be updating less until this stuff gets fixed. (Currently online at a friend's)
And now let's see how the progress for meh gams went!
Please ignore the poor map design, it's just for testing purposes. I finally finished the textbox and stuff, so I can aim for the menus and other stuff... I probably won't be able to accomplish much progress while my connection is down, but we'll see! It's sadly all I have to show from me, but I figured that I have to feature some other games than mine, so here we go!
Steampunk Fantasy Distopia
NoM is a game by a good friend of mine with many names, but commonly known Archeia_Nessiah. She made a lot of stunning and beautiful art, and it's pretty clear that she's putting her heart, soul and sanity into it. It has currently gone through a lot of development struggle, but is on the way to completition by now.
You might want to visit Archeia's blog (which is also linked on the sidebar)
I'll be featuring more games later on, since I can barely fill this blog with my shizz. Bye for nooow~
There I am, having a triumphant return! Well what's there to say? Disillusioned Strategies is on hiatus again, but it's not fault, I'm just waiting for my artist to finish the cutscenes art! I worked on Liese's game in the meantime, but saddly I lost a lot of data due to an unexpected crash while cleaning my hard drive. ;A;
Anyways, here's what I've got:
(Click the picture to see it in full res!) By now you've probably noticed that I'm a sucker for visual novels, so my games are quiet influenced by them ｡◕ ‿ ◕｡
And now for the battle system...
(Again, click for full res)
It still needs a crapload of editing, but I got the sprites and monster graphics I need! Yanfly is the greatest person on earth for creating the Melody Engine. If you ever read this, Yanfly, I'm your greates faaaan♥
Anyways, expect the battle orders on the lower right to change, I was just too lazy to edit them right now. It's turn based, since I really love turn based batle systems~ This is al for now, may the sanity be with you, visitors!
Hahahaha, I'm deadly sorry for my uber-long absence! A whole lot of stuff happened recently, and I had a hard time trying to breathe between all the stress. However I was not lazy! I designed some new enemies for the game starring Liese. (Didn't come up with a title yet)
I made a lot more, but these are the only ones I feel like showing. I'll probably upscale them so they fit with VX's higher resolution, but we'll see. It also depends on if I actually want to design the other graphics by myself or not! Catch you later!
Merci beacoup for reading this blog♥
